Slime is all the rage now a days. I tweaked the recipe a little bit and after some mixing and settling the slime actually turned out great!
What you’ll need:
4 oz bottle of Elmers Glue
1/2 Tbsp Baking Soda
1/4 Tbsp Contact Solution
Wooden Stick or Plastic Utensil for stirring.
A little helper
Start by pouring all 4 oz of glue into your mixing bowl.
Add 7-10 drops of food coloring of your choice.
Mix it together using wooden stick, or plastic utensil, something you can throw away.
Next add 1/2 Tbsp baking soda, and 1/4 Tbsp of contact solution.
Stir it up, knead it with your hands. If its too gooey for your taste, add more contact solution.
Anyone that knows Little Goose, knows that she HATES her hands dirty. She washes her hands a lot everyday, A LOT. So when I had her help me knead this together she was SOOO disgusted with how it felt. She wanted NO PART OF THIS.
Oh my gosh it was hilarious! We ended up both crying, she shed tears of disgust, I shed tears of laughter. I ended up putting the finished product in a bag and she played with it through the bag.
Once it sat in the bag for a few hours it was way more fun to take out and play with. It was the perfect consistency. This lasted for about 2 weeks before I threw it away.
